Jira

Turn a request into a Jira issue whose status stays in step with the board.

What it does

A request on a board becomes an issue in the Jira Cloud project you chose, with a link back to the page it was left on. Issues are created as the account whose API token you connect.

Send one request, tick several in the comments panel and send them together, or have every new request become an issue on its own.

Status travels both ways. Moving the issue in Jira moves the request on the board, and resolving the request on the board moves the issue.

How to connect

  1. Create an Atlassian API token for the account the issues should come from.
  2. Open your team’s settings and choose Project tools, then Jira.
  3. Enter your atlassian.net site, the account’s email, the token and the project key, such as WEB.
  4. In Jira, add a webhook for “Issue updated” at the address the team page shows, so changes come back to the board.
